NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AND PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN EMERGENCY INTERIM ORDINACE AS THEY RELATE TO THC PRODUCTS

The Stevens County Board of Commissioners shall have on its agenda a proposed emergency interim ordinance and shall conduct a related public hearing on November 1, 2022 at 9:30 am, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Courthouse Boardroom on the proposed adoption of an Emergency Interim Ordinance Prohibiting The Establishment of New Uses Or Expansion of Existing Uses Related To Sales, Testing, Manufacturing And Distribution of THC Products.  The proposed ordinance will set forth a moratorium on all related products for a period of twelve (12) months to allow for a study by staff and recommendation for local controls.  You can view the draft ordinance at www.co.stevens.mn.  You can also view the draft ordinance at the Administrator’s Office at the Stevens County Courthouse, 400 Colorado Ave, Morris, MN.  Citizens may offer oral or written testimony before the Board at said hearing.
