Function

Per Minnesota Statute 134A.01, the Stevens County Law Library was established to make available, without charge, substantial and relevant legal materials for use by:

  • All inhabitants of Stevens County, Minnesota
  • City, county, and state officials
  • Judges and the courts of Minnesota
  • Members of the bar

Self Help Centers

A Self Help Center is a place where you can find helpful information, services and resources about your legal problem if you are not represented by an attorney. The Self Help Centers assist people who represent themselves in the Minnesota District Courts. For more information you can visit their website.

Location and Hours

The law library is located on the 2nd floor of the courthouse and is open during regular courthouse hours:

Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Memorial Day through Labor Day: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
